Hydraulic Fittings, Adaptors & Couplings

From the South West of the UK, Derek Lane & Co has an extensive range of hydraulic fittings, adaptors, and couplings for next-day delivery as standard, or for immediate collection from our trade counter in Newton Abbot, Devon. We can supply these as loose components, or as part of a hydraulic hose assembly that is professionally made on-site by qualified engineers.

Our range of hydraulic adaptors, fittings, and couplings are globally sourced and include budget ranges for low-use, non-arduous applications, to premium manufacturers’ products including Parker and Gates.

Hydraulic Fittings For All Applications

We hold large stocks of hydraulic fittings, from 1/8” to 4”, in all common thread types such as BSPP, NPT JIC, SAE, UNF, ORFS, Metric, Toyota, Komatsu, French Metric and SAE Flanges in 3000 and 6000 series.

We also source a range of non-skive spiral fittings which have been developed, not only to cut labour time and costs but also to eliminate any potential assembly errors

Our complete range of hydraulic fittings extends from straight adaptors and elbows to banjos and flanged ends. We also provide a wide range of stainless steel fittings for applications such as marine and food.

In addition, we hold large stocks of hydraulic compression fittings for tube connections, together with a range of tubes and clamps, as well as the option to hire our tube forming machine.

FAQ

Here you will find answers to the most common questions around hydraulic fittings, adaptors, and couplings.

Hydraulic fittings connect hoses, pipes, and tubes, and allow a change of direction, increases, or reductions in size throughout a hydraulic system.

Most hydraulic fittings have a male and female component that joins to form a connection. These connections help contain and direct the flow of hydraulic fluid while preventing leaks and maintaining pressure. Hydraulic fittings should always be selected to meet the maximum pressure requirement of the hose and the hydraulic systems.

Hydraulic quick connect couplings (QRCs) or quick-action couplings provide a fast, convenient and secure way to repeatedly connect and disconnect hydraulic fluid lines. QRCs have a shut-off valve built into one or both halves of the coupling, which means fluid will only flow when both halves are connected. They are commonly used in applications such as hydraulic breakers and agricultural equipment.

High quality QRCs are available for next day delivery. Our range includes ISO A, ISO B, flat face, screw/ISO14541, pull/push, trailer break, tipper couplings and many more.
