Most hydraulic fittings have a male and female component that joins to form a connection. Hydraulic quick connect couplings (QRCs) or quick-action couplings provide a fast, convenient and secure way to repeatedly connect and disconnect hydraulic fluid lines. QRCs have a shut-off valve built into one or both halves of the coupling, which means fluid will only flow when both halves are connected.
